Undergraduate Level

The philosophy of education in the School of Automation is to provide students with a life-long learning capability. The curricular for different programs, although emphasis has been placed on different aspects of automation and electrical engineering, do have a common thread in providing students with a fundamental understanding as well as an up-to-date grasp of cutting edge advanced technologies of this important field. For the undergraduate level, the School of Automation offers the following bachelor degree programs:

1.Automation

The annual undergraduate enrollment in Automation is about 180. Core courses in this program include Control Theory, Circuits and Systems, Computer Technology, Electrical and Fluid Power Transmission, Sensors, Mechatronic Systems, and Automation Equipment.

2.Electrical Engineering and Automation

The annual undergraduate enrollment in Electrical Engineering and Automation is about 60. Core courses include Control Theory, Power Electronics, Energy Conversion, Testing and Measurement, Electrical Engineering,   and Automation Systems.

3.International Class

The international class is established by the School of Automation in 2010. The annual undergraduate enrollment is about 30. Core courses include Control Theory, Power Electronics, Energy Conversion, Testing and Measurement, Electrical Engineering,   and Automation Systems. All courses of the international class are taught in English.

Postgraduate Level (Msc and PhD in Automation)
